One female flea can lay approximately eighteen eggs a day, which means that just twenty fleas on an animal can produce over 2000 eggs in a week. Also, after your home is treated, it might actually take up to two weeks before no more fleas are seen. This is due to the fact that while the flea is in its cocoon, it is invulnerable to treatment. Once these fleas emerge however, they will then contact the treatment and be eliminated. Pest control for a flea infestation requires several steps. First, prepare your home for treatment.
